Meet Colorado Criminal Defense Attorney Katie Kellett
I have spent the entirety of my career in the courtroom representing clients who have been accused of various crimes. I understand it is incredibly intimidating to have the full force of the government breathing down your neck, and I have a passion for coming alongside you while guiding you through the process. As a public defender for 3.5 years, I represented clients charged at every level from DUIs and misdemeanors to first degree murder. I have appeared in multiple courtrooms and jurisdictions representing adults and juveniles.
I have worked tirelessly to ensure that clients get the best outcome possible. I understand those goals are different for each person. I am a zealous advocate willing to fight for the wrongly accused. Proven to be an effective negotiator in presenting extensive mitigation to DAs and judges, I show my clients are so much more than the allegations they're facing.
Katie's Approach to Criminal Law in Colorado

I'm dedicated to fighting for those goals while advising you of realistic outcomes. I am not intimidated by the government's tactics and will carefully litigate your case through investigation, pretrial motions, and trial. Through this approach, I have been able to get many cases dismissed before they ever made it to trial.
