Posted by Terry O'Malley | Jan 22, 2018 | 0 Comments

Burglary is charged in Denver, Castle Rock, and Aurora when a person unlawfully breaks into a home or business with the intent to commit another crime. A man known for winning a donut eating contest was recently arrested and charged for breaking into a Dunkin Donuts to steal from it. I guess he just can't get enough donuts! According to the report, in 2014 the man was wanted for breaking and entering when he entered into a donut eating contest put on by the local police department. After winning, he was arrested. Then, just this year, he was arrested and charged with burglarizing the donut shop. If this had occurred in Douglas or Arapahoe County, the man would be facing both Second Degree Burglary and Third Degree Burglary.
